Ecosystem features accidental melodies and textural forms that comprise iridescent club-not-club zones. The Budapest-based producer blends 130-140 leftfield bass with liquid downtempo chuggers. A key creative concept: 'By amplifying certain frequencies in drum breaks, our brains latch onto that as a melody. These melodies are often askew, not perfectly tuned, and I wanted to embrace that.' Each element responds to others throughout the record — tubular melodies coil around syncopated drums as though by reflex and vocal blips flit through the gaps. The work demonstrates Kin Teal's artistic evolution through oblique rhythms that bend conventional production approaches with distinctive creativity.
